What We Do

PMP K9 Services provide solutions that will safeguard your investments, people and property: from the protection of high-value goods in a warehouse to multiple, coordinated Residential Dog Patrols; from single projects requiring increased short-term protection to long-term, permanent security services.

As these examples illustrate, different sites require different forms of protection. We approach each assignment on an individual basis, adapting our operating procedures to each site requirement, threat potential and Client specification.

Our Security Dog Units – comprising fully trained Dog Handler and Patrol Dog of recognised Guarding breed – are deployed in highly visible, clearly marked vehicles and will conduct regular and extensive dog patrols of your premises. We can also supply unmarked ‘covert’ vehicles, should you require. Based on-site at vulnerable periods or 24 / 7 our presence will deter criminal activity and maximise protection.

Accreditations & Insurance

PMP K9 Services operate in accordance with the National Association of Security Dog Users (N.A.S.D.U.) and the security division of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (B.I.P.D.T.). 

Our Handlers possess individual Public Liability Insurance specific to working a Patrol Dog.

Training

Our extensive Training Programme is designed around practical and theoretical scenarios to equip both Handler and Patrol Dog with the skills necessary to deal with real-life situations.

Each Unit is required to undergo regular training to maximise their effectiveness and ensure they are continually capable of delivering a first class service.

Health & Safety

We fully recognise the Health & Safety responsibilities of working with Patrol Dogs. As such, all of our Handlers have a full appreciation of relevant Criminal and Civil Law and operate in accordance with The Guard Dogs Act and The Dangerous Dogs Act.
